I personally find value in old games, most especially Metal Gear games since its one of my favorite series ever. ![]() I say this because I understand and agree that single player games (or rather single player modes in this case) should never be locked out of access because they have some 'online expiration date'. Second, I've been gaming for decades now, I'm a fan of retro games, I still have my old consoles hooked up to my CRT TVs, PlayStation 1 and 2, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox I still play them often. I think is it bullshit but Konami will never offer an apology so let's move on from that. I own MG Survive, have played it for roughly 100 hours by now on PS4, I'm going to explain to you in detail why the mandatory online connection is not that big of a deal.įirst, I'll mention that I'm not happy about the practice and I don't want this to become a trend, and I'm not supporting or defending Konami.
